JEFFREY P. LOWENTHAL

Managing Partner

After graduating from Villanova Law School in 1973 and passing the Pennsylvania Bar in 1974, Jeff Lowenthal took a position with the government. A year later he realized that he was not a man who wanted to be an employee, but rather someone who had an entrepreneurial spirit. Listening to his business- oriented nature, Jeff decided to open his own firm and began to serve those in his neighborhood who were victims of personal injury.

Thirty-five years ago, when Jeff opened the Lowenthal Firm, insurance companies and their adjustors seemed different. Cases were frequently resolved over a cup of coffee and a handshake, with both sides understanding potential imperfections in the cases and a mutual willingness to reach a fair settlement. Unfortunately, as years passed, the ability to settle many cases went by the wayside. Jeff recognized the change, saw what was needed to aid his clients, and grew the firm accordingly; adding attorneys and staff to make certain his clients would be able to obtain the representation they needed from Lowenthal & Abrams.

Jeff has been married to a wonderful and supportive wife for 38 years. They have four children and one grandchild. In his spare time Jeff enjoys Japanese gardening and taking tropical vacations. He focuses his practice on personal injury and is a frequent speaker for a faith-based organization. During the past 35 years, Lowenthal & Abrams, P.C. has represented over 500 religious organizations.
