JAMES B. MOGUL

Jim became an attorney because he wanted to represent the downtrodden. His first job with Legal Aid in Atlantic City, New Jersey, helped him to fulfill this dream. After leaving Legal Aid, Jim had the opportunity to serve with the Fraternal Order of Police, which provided him with his first exposure to Workers’ Compensation law. After leaving the Fraternal Order of Police, Jim worked with a variety of law firms until he joined Lowenthal and Abrams in 1999. In addition to focusing his practice on Workers’ Compensation, Jim also handles Social Security Disability and Personal Injury cases.

A member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars since 1983, Jim is a member of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers’ Association and a frequent speaker on issues involving workers’ compensation. In 2009 and 2011 he was named by Main Line Today as one of the Top Lawyers in Workers Compensation Law. Jim obtained his undergraduate degree from Haverford College in 1979 and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1983. Jim was also named to Top Lawyers 2009, by Main Line Today for Workers’ Compensation law.

In his personal life, Jim is a huge Phillies fan; enjoys jogging and is a history buff, focusing on issues surrounding the building of civilization. Jim is extremely focused on representing his clients, individuals who have been injured and need assistance obtaining workers’ compensation or those requiring assistance navigating the confusing maze of the social security disability system. He is dedicated to his clients and takes an interest in them as people who have problems that need to be solved. Due to his dedication and experience, Jim is very successful at what he does; as a result he is extremely well respected, both by his clients and fellow members of the Bar.
